Why I Started The League...
Soccer is meant to be enjoyed on the field and off... with friends and with your opponents.
I started the Elite 8 Soccer League because I play just as hard now as I did when I was 25... and celebrating a well played match with your team is the best part of the game.
Most Tuesday or Thursday nights during the year you can find a few dozen of us at the local pub having a beer, high five'ing teammates and opponents after the game and sharing a laugh. Why? Because we're all friends - and we all play hard.
On the field I might wear blue, you might wear red - but when it's all said and done we're just having fun.
On top of that, the selection of leagues in Northern Vermont is a bit limited. The Elite 8 Soccer League is my answer to filling a void with something different, paying tribute to having fun, playing hard and celebrating soccer amongst friends.
So put a team together and join us.
